Dear fellow rephotographers,
today, we’d like to celebrate a milestone! Our collection of rephotographies now covers more than 600 contributions from all over the world! Thanks so much to everyone who shared their lovely pictures and supported our project. We are very grateful for such an active and interesting community!
At the same time, we’d like to introduce a very helpful new feature: translations. You’ll now be able to translate any language to either English or German, depending on which version of our site you’re currently using. With this feature, we want to focus on the stories behind your images. So please, share a little bit more context and tell us what’s happening in your images - in the language of your choosing.
This seems like a good moment to ask: What do you like about re.photos? What could be better? What confuses you and what do you miss? Please help us understand your needs so that we can improve and continue to grow!
And finally, we have to ask a favor. Please remember to always name the photographer of your images. There is a little box right underneath the license where you can enter the photographer’s name. If you took the image yourself, just click the checkbox and we will credit you automatically.
Again, thank you so much for your support and please let us know your thoughts!
