Does anyone know why the visitor count hasn’t been working on the website lately?

You are completely right of course: the visitor counts haven’t been updated in a while. I suspect this has something to do with an upgrade of our web analytics software.
I will have a look and keep you posted!

Sorry for the long wait, @StuartSW6, but I have good news: I was able to isolate the problem and fix it. This was indeed caused by an upgrade of our web analytics software.
I fixed the bug and also made the visitor counts more accurate while I was at it.
